Graduated Graphics from the Iliya Petrov National
Secondary School of Fine Arts in Sofia. In 1996 he
obtained his MA in Ceramics from the National
Academy of Arts. Author of books and video films.

First Prize of the 13 Centuries Bulgaria Foundation
in the Rashko Sougarev National Short Story
Competition (2007); First Prize for Short Story in

young artist of RFI’s programme for contemporary
art Picnic on Vesuvius (2004); Award of the Council of
Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria for the design
of a ceramic panel, in co-authorship with Samouil
Stoyanov (2001).
